2011 – 2012 Price Changes
To help provide clarity to the justification behind our decision to increase our membership fees and assessment fees, please see the Q&As below. Q. Why have you increased fees?
A. Since 2008 we have managed to maintain our prices at the same rate however, in the same period inflation has increased significantly. The cumulative rate of inflation, as measured by RPI (Retail Price Index), is 11%. This has had a direct impact on the costs required in maintaining the same level of service and benefits that we currently deliver through our membership. The Board of Trustees, in recognising this fact, were aware that a subscription increase could no longer be prevented and the Membership Group, consisting of all Regional Chairs, agreed with the new pricing structure proposed.
